The Thunder Mountain Sweepstakes is open to legal US residents at least 18 years of age at the time of entry. Employees, and family members of the employees, of American Modern Insurance Group, Inc. ("American Modern"), The Midland Company, or any affiliate or subsidiary of any such company are not eligible to enter or win.

One prize will be awarded, a 2008 Thunder Mountain Custom Cycles Spitfire Motorcycle, with a retail value of approximately $20,000.00.

There are 4 ways to enter this sweepstakes. 1) Log on to http://motorcycle.amig.com and complete an entry form 2) Complete an entry form at one of the Motorcycle shows where American Modern has a booth, 3) Complete the entry form at a Thunder Mountain location and 4) No online entry or purchase is necessary. You may enter the Sweepstakes by mail by printing your name, address, phone number, e-mail address (if any), and the words " The Thunder Mountain Sweepstakes" on a 3" x 5" card, inserting the card into an envelope and mailing to: American Modern Insurance Group - ATTN: Marketing, PO Box 5323, Cincinnati, OH 45201.

Entries shall become the property of American Modern, and by entering you agree to assign any and all rights in and to the entries, and copyrights thereof, to American Modern. By entering, each participant authorizes American Modern to use his or her name, likeness and image in its advertising and promotion. Winner may be identified on promotional materials and the winner may have to sign an affidavit of eligibility.

Average number of entries is anticipated to be approximately 100,000. Odds of winning depends upon the actual number of entries received.

The Thunder Mountain Sweepstakes begins on December 28, 2007 at 12:00 am EST for New York and Florida residents and on November 30, 2007 at 12:00 am EST for all other US residents. All entries (electronic or mail) must be received by 11:59 P.M. Eastern Time on August 21, 2008 (“The Prize Period”). Submissions received after this date will not be valid.

Winners will be responsible for any tax liability related to this promotion.

American Modern is not responsible for technological problems which may result in inaccurate tracking.

All winners will be chosen randomly at a drawing on or before August 31, 2008. Winners will be contacted by phone, mail or electronic mail. American Modern is not responsible if your contact information is not accurate or up to date. American Modern will make reasonable effort to contact the prize winner. You may obtain the winner’s name by printing your name, address, phone number, email address, sweepstakes name and the words "Request for winners name - The Thunder Mountain Sweepstakes " on a 3" x 5" card, inserting the card into an envelope and mailing to: American Modern Insurance Group - ATTN: Marketing, PO Box 5323, Cincinnati, OH 45201. This request must be received by September 30, 2008. An unclaimed prize shall not be awarded. The winner will be contacted on or before September 6, 2008.  The prize will be awarded within 3 weeks of initial contact with the winner. American Modern reserves the right to change the actual prize at any time during the promotion. In this event, every effort will be made to provide a prize of like estimated value. American Modern also reserves the right to award additional prizes during the timeframe of the promotion. In the event that a winner cannot be contacted after the drawing, American Modern may randomly chose another winner until such time as a winner is contacted (based on the contact information provided in the initial entry or subsequently updated). Unclaimed prizes will not be awarded.
